What you’ll be doing:

You’ll play a key role in Virgin’s Group Reporting team with this dual pronged role. Firstly, you will be the ‘subject matter expert’ and take ownership of the Oracle ERP system, leading process improvements, general ledger maintenance and ad hoc projects as the business continues to grow. This includes designing, implementing and maintaining strong financial controls, policies and reporting processes. Secondly, you’ll support end of month governance and statutory financial reporting, ensuring deadlines are met and results are delivered accurately and with confidence. Working closely with finance teams and stakeholders across the wider business, you will be responsible for maintaining consolidation/elimination entities, FX revaluations and inter-company matrices.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

• Are CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Experience in Oracle Fusion/SmartView is required
• Bring experience working in an IFRS accounting environment including having strong knowledge of current accounting standards
• Thrive in fast-paced environments and can confidently manage high volumes of work and competing priorities
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Consistently meet tight deadlines and adapt quickly as priorities shift
• Take initiative, with a natural problem-solving mindset and a focus on improving processes
• Build strong working relationships and provide high-quality advice and support across diverse teams
• Are confident influencing stakeholders at different levels across the business
• Have strong systems capability and high computer literacy
• Bring advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Experience in the airline industry is highly regarded
