EOI - Flight Safety Advisor - Perth

Join our Flight Operations Performance team as a Flight Operations Safety Advisor, where your expertise will directly impact on the safety and efficiency of our fleet operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to aviation safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

  • Based in Perth and is limited to current Perth based Pilots
  • Commencing December 2025

This is a part time opportunity where approximately eight ADMIN days rostered per RP between Monday to Friday, with no other change to terms and conditions of employment. Incumbents will be rostered to perform their normal flying duties in their assigned base (PER) on non ADMIN days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations into technical problems, incidents, and accidents.
  • Monitor and analyze flight data, pilot reports, and industry safety trends.
  • Promote a 'Just Culture' and proactively address safety concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Regulations and operational standards.
  • Engage with flight crews to share safety insights and performance outcomes.
  • Support emergency response programs and resilience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in flight operations or aviation safety advisory roles.
  • Strong understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with flight data analysis and incident investigation procedures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
