Digital Product Owner - Velocity Store

As the Digital Product Owner – Velocity Store, you’ll take full ownership of the Digital Experience and Delivery of Velocity’s digital marketplace, driving its strategy, optimisation, and end-to-end performance. You’ll lead the product roadmap, build new capabilities, and deliver seamless agile execution to ensure the Velocity Store meets its commercial goals while creating an exceptional experience for our members. 
 
This is a 12-month opportunity to make a large impact across the Velocity Marketplace 

 

In addition, you will:  

  • Define and own the digital product vision and roadmap for the Velocity Store, ensuring alignment with business strategy and member needs. 

  • Lead agile delivery across local and offshore teams, driving clarity, prioritisation, and high-quality execution. 

  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog, sprint planning, and delivery ceremonies to ensure timely development of new features and enhancements. 

  • Collaborate with UX, marketing, technology, and data teams to design and deliver new capability and seamless customer experiences. 

  • Optimise product performance by monitoring site metrics, conversion, and engagement through Adobe Analytics and similar tools. 

  • Drive personalisation and experimentation using Adobe Target to enhance member engagement and commercial outcomes. 

  • Ensure platform stability, compliance, and operational excellence by overseeing site maintenance and alignment with security and brand standards. 

 

You’ll be great in this role if you: 

  • Have tertiary qualifications in business, digital, technology, or a related field, with Agile or Scrum Product Owner certification highly regarded. 

  • Bring proven experience as a Digital Product Owner or Product Manager within an eCommerce, digital marketplace, or similar environment. 

  • Have successfully led agile delivery teams, including managing offshore or international development partners. 

  • Possess hands-on experience delivering capability using platforms such as Mirakl Marketplace, Adobe Commerce, or Adobe Experience Manager. 

  • Are skilled in interpreting analytics and translating insights into meaningful product improvements, optimisation, and customer experience enhancements. 

  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams. 

  • Have a solid understanding of digital commerce models, marketplace ecosystems, platform integrations, and member engagement strategies—ideally within travel, loyalty, or retail.
