What you’ll be doing:
At Virgin Australia, our Ancillary Products team is driven by a bold vision: to give VA a competitive edge by creating innovative products that elevate the travel experience through choice and value.
As the Delivery & Solution Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life. You’ll work closely with Product Leads (Air and Non-Air) to identify opportunities and deliver solutions that support both new and existing ancillary products.
In this role, you will:
- Lead cross-functional investigations to uncover solutions and define requirements that address customer and business challenges.
- Champion Ancillary Product interests across distribution and related initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT, Digital, and Operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of product solutions.
- Provide detailed analysis and documentation of current and future delivery pathways.
- Establish best-practice methodologies for integrating Ancillary initiatives into IT & Digital pipelines.
- Develop structured frameworks for documenting and communicating business requirements across the Ancillary roadmap.

You’ll be great in this role if you:
- Hold relevant degree qualifications or bring equivalent experience, along with an industry-recognised Business Analysis certification
- Have a strong track record of leading people and engaging effectively across all levels of the business
- Excel in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and drive decision-making for quality outcomes.
- Are confident taking the lead on projects with significant Business Analysis components
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, resulting in high levels of satisfaction
- Bring excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills
- Have deep experience in process re-engineering, modelling, and improvement tools and techniques.
- Have experience managing high-performing teams and overseeing Roadmap Planning and Delivery
- Are familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence and have a solid grasp of digital campaign management and effectiveness.
- Take ownership and accountability for team performance, ROI, and delivering value
- Bring knowledge of the airline or travel industry, with 7+ years in a similar role (preferably Sabre)
- Have project management experience (a bonus, but not essential)
