What you’ll be doing:

As a Business Improvement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in reviewing and streamlining end-to-end processes within Finance and across Account Payable primarily. This includes, accounts payable end to end improvements but also areas such as month-end close, reporting and analysis, financial control, and treasury. Your focus will be on delivering opportunities for simplification and efficiency, ensuring processes are efficient, stable and well documented, to support long term business performance and deliver value.

This role is a 12 month maximum term contract opportunity.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

• Hold a university degree in Business or a related discipline (CA/CPA qualifications are a plus)
• Have Lean or Six Sigma experience and at least 2 years of experience implementing continuous improvement using these methodologies.
• Bring 2 + years of experience with accounts payable and purchasing processes.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate. expectations, goals and business cases for change.
• Are skilled in advanced Excel and BI tools and comfortable with data analysis for problem-solving
• Demonstrate strong decision-making autonomy and accountability with the ability to navigate complex issues and deliver optimal outcomes
• Have exposure to workflow automation tools and modern systems (e.g., Nintex, PowerApps, UiPath)
• Bring experience working with Finance teams, aviation or tourism industries (desirable)
• Understand corporate finance functions, deliverables, and systems such as Oracle (desirable)
