This is a 12 month secondment opportunity.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in paid media, with strong skills in media planning, buying, and campaign optimisation
  • Are confident across digital media channels and tactics, with a solid understanding of omnichannel media planning
  • Have worked in agency or in-house environments, managing multiple stakeholders and high campaign volumes
  • Use data to drive decisions, with experience in attribution models and marketing mix modelling (MMM)
  • Are skilled in planning and/or buying traditional/offline media
  • Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Can juggle multiple projects and deadlines with strong organisational and project management skills
  • Know how to compile reports and interpret performance data to inform strategy
  • Are comfortable reviewing creative assets and promotional content
  • Understand campaign tracking, optimisation, and reporting tools

  • Ideally, have completed industry-accredited training (e.g. MFA, NGEN, Google, Meta certifications)
  • Have experience with media platforms, tracking tools, and reporting dashboards
  • Understand Virgin Australia's brand and customer engagement approach (desirable)
